Developed at the request of front-line drone operators and in collaboration with Tac Aerial, the Goggles 3 Mount (G3M) is a full aluminum mount that allows the attachment of the DJI Goggles 3 to any modern NVG helmet mount, all without any modifications.

Using a simple one-bolt install, the G3M securely clamps onto the main body of the Goggles 3 and gives operators the flexibility to use the Goggles 3 with or without a helmet. The G3M is available in two versions - long arm for those looking to keep the factory brow pad and switch between helmet and head use; or short arm for those seeking the ultimate in ergonomics and has a modified Goggles 3 with brow pad removed. An easily-accessible thumb-screw adjusts for tension of the goggle pivot and can be easily loosened to fold the dovetail horn out of the way when the Goggles 3 is used in head-band mode, reducing user profile, or for storage. 

100% designed and made in Canada, the G3M is available for Goggles 3 with factory brow pad, or Tac Aerial-modified Goggles 3 with the brow pad removed. Due to the height of the brow pad, please purchase the correct goggle mount as the arm lengths differ.

Don’t waste your money on this phone holder. I had a very bad experience with it, and it damaged my phone twice. The holder opens by itself without warning, causing the phone to fall out while driving. Sometimes I found my phone under the seats, and other times it dropped while I was driving on the highway, which is very dangerous and distracting. One time, the holder suddenly released my phone and it hit the handbrake hard, breaking the screen completely. I had to spend $500 to replace the screen. The opening and locking system does not work properly. Sometimes it opens randomly, and sometimes it closes by itself. The wireless charging is also unreliable — sometimes it charges, and other times it stops charging unexpectedly. When the charging stops, the holder suddenly unlocks and drops the phone. Overall, this product is unsafe, unreliable, and not worth the money.

This little invention is outstanding! It holds phones of multiple sizes very securely in place without any bonding or sticky attachments that could damage your vehicle. Best of all, various size devices can be easily held in place with a quick squeeze of the side mounts and just as easily removable with a single press of a release button on the back side. The mount is also very strong and holds up to various temperatures. For example, in the summer it can become very hot in an enclosed vehicle and this mount holds up when other mounts tend to fail from over exposure to heat. The failure causes the joints or fittings to loosen, which will cause your device to slip from an intended position. Well, that is not a problem with this one. It has stood the test of time as I have used this mount for over a year in extreme environments. In the end, it appears that my family has come to like this product too. Ahem, my wife just took mine! So, I have returned to purchase another one for myself and two more for my daughters. Then I don't have to worry about my daughters taking mine either. Yes, I'm finally thinking ahead, so maybe you should think ahead and get additional copies for your family members. Either way, try one and you'll likely be back for more. It makes a great gift. I highly suggest this product to everyone who needs a mobile device mount for their vehicle.

Well made, but not a good fit for Volvo XC40
One issue with this style of holder, is that the swing arm and holder add a fair amount of weight and extends that weight away from the vent, applying quite a bit more leverage on the vent. It may not be as much of an issue on horizontal vents, but the vertical vents on an XC40 will want to swing side-to-side with all that weight. As for the build of this particular holder, my only real gripe is the adjustment for the swing arm - after tightening the knob, there will still be some play in the arm...you have to jiggle it while tightening it down to fully secure it. The position of the release button allows one-handed removal of the phone, but really only works by pinching with your thumb on the screen. The clip for the vent accommodates relatively wide fins and the tabs can be rotated to help with stability or removed to provide more clearance (though rubberized tabs would be much more helpful).

Purchased in February of 2025. Very solid item. Use it constantly in our 2011 4Runner and 2017 CX5. This unit attaches firmly to vent fins in both cars. I use iPhone for maps programs and streaming music. When traveling I'm constantly rotating device 90 degrees to use phone in portrait and landscape positions. Unit has shown no signs of losing ability to firmly hold desired position despite frequent rotations. It holds firmly where you place it. Initially I had concerns about placement on dash and blocking view of radio face, clock, MPG indicator, and other displays. Didn't take too long to realize the flexibility of this thing and the many, many positions you can place it due to multiple rotational joints. Pricing was fair. If this ever wears out, I will want to buy another.
